Hi

Can anyone tell me what the level of integration with Voice Command is? I can say 'open pocket player', and it does, but if I say 'play anything', it says 'no media found'. That suggests it's still in WMP 'mode'.

Is there any way to get Voice Command to work with PP?

Many thanks
John

First, make sure you have the Conduits WM Adapter 2.1 installed. Menu->More->Options->Plugins, tap update now. It should prompt you, telling you there are some new plugins. Just tap yes for all the prompts and it will connect to the internet and install the correct plugin. This should give you play, pause, next/previous track, etc. My understanding is that this is done by hosting the WMP VC plugin directly, and is only compatable with WMP 10 devices (correct me if I am wrong).

Voice command generates voice tags for media it finds on your device at start up. Then, when you ask it to play something, it generates a playlist in the asx formats and tries to open it. Since Windows Media Player is associated with asx files, it opens there. If you associate Pocket Player with the asx format, it will open in pocket player. You can do this under Menu->More->Options->Associations and then check ASX.

I followed both of these steps and VC works perfectly on my HTC Herald, running WM 6, WMP 10, VC 1.6.
