Hi there!
I installed the Pocket Player 3.6 with the UPnP plugin 2.2 on my ETEN Glofiish X800. At home I use a NAS with the TwonkyVision 4.4 UPnP server running on it.
With the Pocket Player I can see the server, access it and browse through all folders, but when I click a file to play it, the playback doesn't start. The selected file appears in the playlist, but I can press the play button 1000 times, nothing happens. When I click on "browse" then to access the UPnP server again, the "No results" message appears and I can't reach the server until I restart the Pocket Player.
Has anyone a solution for my problem?
Thanks a lot and greetings form Germany,
Sebastian

I just came on to ask about the same thing. I have a little more to add, however.
I have an HP Hx4700 running Pocket Player 3.51 on Windows Mobile 2003, streaming wirelessly from TwonkyMedia 4.4 hosted on a Linksys NLSU2. That works fine, apart from the media server vanishing every so often requiring a soft reboot of the PDA.
So I got a cheap Dell Axim x51v off a mate, running the demo verson of Pocket Player 3.6 on Windows Media 5 ... and that always sees the Twonky Server. Hurrah! I can navigate the media, until I select a song ... then nothing ... then No Results from the server until I restart Pocket Player. Just as described above.
So from this I conclude it's either Windows Mobile 5, the Axim or the newer version of Pocket Player.

I have this problem using an HTC Mogul (WM6) connecting to all of the following UPnP servers: J River Media Center, Twonky Vision and Orb.

Nope, my X800 runs with Windows Mobile 6 Professional - and you know I got the same problems.

Hi there,
I have exactly the same problem on my HTC3600/WM5 (while
the previous version was working most, not all, of the time). My server is TwonkyVision 4.4 on a TS209 Qnap pro.
I have bought this sw only for this feature !

I just dropped back to v3.51 and it works fine, so it's definitely an issue that's been introduced in v3.6.

FWIW, Conduits is aware of the problem and working on it. I use MediaTomb (running on a hacked Maxtor Shared Storage II NAS) and had the same issue when browsing the sorted view (e.g., Audio -> Genre -> Rock). But, MediaTomb also allows you to "Browse" the file structure directly, and that works fine with 3.6.
I contacted them directly and sent them some log files a few days ago, so I know they're working on it...I'm guessing we'll see a fix "soon".
