Dear fellow XDAers
I've been on xda for some time now, keeping myself under the radar.
I've been using pocket player for some time already but the looks always sucked, besides that, most of the buttons and components were either to small, or were positioned so close to each other, that I missed the component! So I made my own, and there for I'd like to show you some development on the skin;)
My goal was to let it look better, and to increase the 'finger friendly' factor'.
What did I do to complete my goals?
- I increased the size of all the buttons, sliders, etc. to boost the ‘finger friendly’ aspect.
- I redesigned every component; it now looks iPod / HTC Touch Flo 3D like.
- I changed the 'Equalizer panel' to something where you can easily change your EQ and the volume. This makes the whole skin look ‘clean’ and you’ll still have the power, with enhanced ‘finger friendliness’ one click away!
What resolutions does it support?
Definitely:
480px*800px;
It has been developed on a HTC Touch Pro 2, which has a 480px*800px resolution. So it defiantly supports that one.
Please note, that VGA skins work on QVGA devices and vice versa. The only problem is that the skin gets stretched to the size of the device’s screen, so you might notice some ratio changes in the images and/or skin.
Please report which resolution workd 100%!!!
Installation instructions
- Download the skin (‘reb3lzrr_green.psz’) from the link below.
- Place the skin in your PocketPlayer directory (which is commonly \[YOUR DIVICE\\\Program Files\Pocket Player )
- Start up PocketPlayer, press ‘menu => More… => Options… => Skins’ while you’re playing a song. Here you can select the reb3lzrr_green theme
