Conduits Technologies Inc. Releases PalmBrowser 1.0
for Palm-size PCs running Windows CE

TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA, April 20, 1999 -- Conduits Technologies Inc. today
announced the public release of PalmBrowser 1.0 for Palm-size PCs
running Windows CE.  PalmBrowser is an online web browser for the
small devices, enabling mobile connectivity to the web.  

PalmBrowser allows users of the devices (both Gryphon "grayscale" units
as well as Wyvern "color" units) to connect to the web and browse
content from their device in a mobile fashion.  The browser supports
browsing of Internet content (through an existing Internet connection
to the device, whether it be a modem, serial link, or Ethernet 
connection), downloading both the HTML web content and the images
(GIF and JPEG images supported) that are embedded in the pages.  

Other features of PalmBrowser include those that are needed on the
small form-factor device.  URL Helpers allow for quick entry of
URLs into the address bar.  Caching of all content is supported,
and the ability to browse cached content locally without an 
Internet connection is also possible.  Due to the small screen
size of the device, some web pages may not appear properly.  
Automatic image scaling is supported to alleviate some of these
problems, as well as putting the HTML window into a wide viewing
mode. Total offline browsing of local files is also supported.
